Cartier brand was born in 1847 in Paris, when the former apprentice Louis-Francois Cartier bought a workshop from his teacher, jewelry master Adolf Pikar. Quite quickly he began to receive orders from the representatives of the high society of France due to the good reputation of his products. In 1867, Cartier gained wide popularity, presenting his jewelry at the World Exhibition in Paris.

The real heyday of Cartier came when the grandsons of the creator, Louis, Jacques and Pierre Cartier rose at the helm of the company. In 1925, the first famous ring of the brand, consisting of three intertwined links of platinum, yellow and rose gold, appeared. A little later, a bracelet of a similar design appeared.

Today the jewelry division of the company produces lines Panthere de Cartier, LOVE, Trinity de Cartier, Amulette de Cartier, Just un Clou and Paris Nouvelle Vague. Each of them is focused on its audience. For example, Trinity de Cartier consists of variations on the theme of the legendary brand ring – all line decorations are made of platinum, yellow and rose gold.
